Tax Reminders

Thank you to everyone who has expressed their heartfelt condolences on the passing of Frank. We are thankful that Frank built a seasoned staff of extraordinary tax professionals who are well prepared to meet the needs of this year's tax season.

Similar to last year, we are planning to conduct most appointments virtually. If you prefer to meet in person or have specific challenges that make a virtual appointment impossible, please reach out to our office and we will work to safely accommodate your request. Other Important information and documentation deadlines:

All tax preparation appointments must be completed prior to April 10, 2022 in order to meet the tax filing deadline. If there are missing documents at this time, our office can prepare an extension and the return will be completed after the April 15th tax filing deadline when the documents are available.

Provide documentation on any foreign bank accounts to avoid any IRS penalties with these accounts.

Provide the settlement sheets for any real estate transactions that occurred in 2021.

Provide Economic Income Payment Letter 6475 and Advance Child Tax Credit Letter 6419 for the total payments received which need to be reconciled on the 2021 tax return (this could delay refunds if we do not have this information)

Provide us the estimated Federal, State and Local tax payments you made towards your 2021 taxes, if applicable.

This will be a great start to the 2021 tax season! We are looking forward to working with you.
